A new site: Technopolis

Technopolis provides the best addresses for companies to operate and succeed in five countries in the Nordic-Baltic region. The company develops, owns and operates a chain of 20 smart business parks that combine services with flexible and modern office space.

We designed and produced a new website for Technopolis. In addition to the Finnish site we did also Russia’s, Norway’s, Estonia’s and Lithuania’s sites.

The main aim of the redesign project was to present Technopolis as an innovative company that offers not just office space but a wide range of services. Another important goal was to improve conversion rates.

At the start of the project we defined the main user profiles, user paths and conversion points. We started to build a prototype very early on in order to reach the best possible user interface. The user interface was tested by a specialist company who recruited users that belonged to the site’s core target group. We got valuable feedback and made some adjustments before the release.

WordPress was chosen as the platform because the customer wanted an easy to use tool for updating the site and a platform that enables cost efficient and time efficient development work. In order to improve the conversion rates a marketing automation system was integrated to the site.

After first month online the results look very promising. Both the number of visitors on the site and the conversion rates have gone up considerably.
